Sr. Executive - R&D

Job Purpose (Why Job Exists?)

The R&D Executive – Process Metallurgy supports the development, optimization, and scale-up of metallurgical processes through structured experiments and plant trials. The role acts as a technical bridge between the R&D leadership team and ground-level working personnel, ensuring clear communication, accurate execution of trials, and effective transfer of R&D outcomes to production. This position contributes to improved efficiency, product quality, and operational reliability while minimizing technical risk and cost.

Key Result Area

Plan, design, and execute experiments in the R&D pilot plant.

Perform metallurgical reaction balancing and process-related calculations.

Analyze, interpret, and manage experimental and plant trial data.

Demonstrate and explain plant trial procedures to production team.

Support plant trials, scale-up activities, and technology transfer to production.

Collect, analyze, and interpret operating data from plant trials.

Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Marketing, Procurement, and Maintenance teams.

Assist in process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and records.

Conduct SOP and safety training for operating personnel in the R&D pilot plant.
