Dy. Mgr Mechanical Maintenance

Job Purpose (Why Job Exists?)

Plan, direct, control and guide Mechanical Maintenance activities, O&P of utilities and Utility related project activities within budget, time and matching the quality standards, Statutory & EHS compliances & thereby efficiently maintain all manufacturing assets of the unit.

Key Result Area

• Planning & Handling  of  Routine , Breakdown & Preventive Maintenance
• Planning  & Procurement of regular & Machine spares ,Maintain Critical spare stock and regular follow up  with Procurement Dept & Supplier
• Annual Budget Preparation & Monitoring with respect to Utilities , Maintenance Services & CSP Cost
• Implementation of Good Engineering & Safety Practices
• Coordination  & Facing Internal & External Audits (ISO , OHSAS , Safety etc ) of Maintenance & implementation of  procedures/document formats
• Establish & Improved  Data recording system with Respect to Maintenance & Utility   
• Analyze  & Improvement of equipment / system performances in order to   reduce down time / increase the  Plant   availability  and increase the equipment efficiency  
• Establish  and Manage Training Pogramme  through internal or external Agencies for skill improvement at bottom  level
• Coordination with various Agencies  for various maintenance  services – Fabrication , Paint , Insulation etc. and also measurement & Bill verification
• Preparation of Planning , costing & execution  of  Plant Modification   & small Project work.
